| Project Detail : | Kinetic Watts and Volts (KWV), the electric mobility arm of the Kinetic Group, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant in Ahilya Nagar, Maharashtra. Spanning 87,000 sq. ft., the facility features advanced automation, robotics, and digitalised assembly lines aimed at delivering efficient, scalable, and sustainable EV production. This marks a key milestone in Kinetic’s mission to develop innovative, India-made electric mobility solutions aligned with the nation’s push for EV adoption and carbon reduction. Vice Chairman of Kinetic Group, Ajinkya Firodia, highlighted the facility’s role in shaping the future of mobility through manufacturing excellence. The plant launch signals the beginning of KWV’s expansion plans, combining legacy manufacturing prowess with modern EV technology. Famed for the Kinetic Luna and DX—the Group continues its tradition of innovation through KWV, established in September 2022. Backed by the leadership of Padmashri Dr Arun Firodia and Ajinkya Firodia, KWV aims to position India as a leader in sustainable automotive manufacturing. The plant’s commissioning reinforces Kinetic’s dedication to global EV trends and sustainable practices, securing its place in the evolving electric mobility landscape. |
