| Project Detail : | IRCON International has bagged a contract worth Rs 1,068.35 crore from East Central Railway for the construction of a new BG rail bridge across Ganga River in Bihar. The 4.09 km long bridge between Bikramshila and Katareah stations on the new railway line project will include 2x32.086 m open web steel girder + 33x122.0 m open web steel girder, with substructure of a double line track and the superstructure of a single line track. The work is to be executed on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis. The scope of work will broadly include survey, investigations, design and construction of civil structures for double line railway involving formation in embankments/ cuttings, bridges, structures, including testing of section. The work is scheduled to be completed within 48 months. |
