| Project Detail : | The Andhra Pradesh government has revealed a plan to develop 10 large industrial parks across strategic locations in the state, focusing on enhancing its industrial footprint near major economic corridors. A senior official from the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) stated that over 4,000 acres of land have been earmarked for allotment near the Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC) and the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor. These parks are planned at Atchutapuram, Thimmasamudram, Kosalanagaram, Guttapadu, Komarolu, Jayanthipuram, Kothapalli, Donakonda, Santhabommali, and Routhu Suramala Industrial Clusters. The deadline for submission of bids under the expression of interest (EoI) process is set for 06 June, 2025. The proposed parks will be developed as sector-specific hubs to attract investment in high-growth industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, electric vehicles, semiconductors, defense and aerospace, food and agro-processing, aqua-processing, leather, textiles, drone manufacturing, and various downstream industries. This initiative is aimed at creating a robust industrial ecosystem, generating employment, by leveraging Andhra Pradesh’s strategic connectivity and industrial corridors. |
