| Project Title : | ACME Solar Commissions First Phase of 26.4-MW Wind Project in Gujarat |
| Company Name : | Private Company |
| Project Detail : | ACME Solar Holdings has successfully commissioned the first phase of its 50 MW wind power project in Shapar, Gujarat, adding 26.4 MW to its operational capacity, which now stands at 2,731.4 MW. This project marks a significant step in ACME’s renewable energy expansion strategy, specifically in wind energy. The project is being developed in phases under the ACME Pokhran Wind Project and is backed by financing from Power Finance Corporation (PFC). ACME utilised its in-house EPC capabilities and deployed Envision 3.3 MW turbines for this development. The energy generated is routed through a 33/220 kV pooling station and transmitted via a dedicated 220 kV single circuit line to the Shapar substation. The wind power will be sold to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA). This project will share infrastructure with ACME’s upcoming 100 MW wind project, which is in the advanced construction phase. ACME Solar’s total renewable portfolio spans 6,970 MW, covering solar, wind, FDRE, and hybrid solutions. With 2,731.4 MW operational and 4,238.6 MW under development, the company continues to strengthen its position in India’s clean energy transition. |
