Bansal Wire Industries plans to invest ?600 crore in a greenfield project comprising a 1.8 lakh-tonne induction-based steel plant and a 60,000-tonne low-carbon and stainless steel wire manufacturing facility in Gujarat. The company has acquired 42 acres at Sanand, near Tata Nagar, for ?80-90 crore and expects to complete the project by September 2027. The fresh capex follows its recent investment of 550 crore to double its steel wire manufacturing capacity to six lakh tonnes across fie unit in uttar Pradesh and hayrana. |
