| Project Detail : | Infra-tech startup Planck has joined forces with Swiss Vault, a global leader in energy-efficient data storage, to develop a highly sustainable, low-power, and geographically distributed data infrastructure. This strategic partnership focuses on building Quanta-range edge data centres across India that combine Planck’s modular, net-zero infrastructure with Swiss Vault’s award-winning data management technology, which operates at under 300 watts per petabyte of storage. The joint solution is aimed at sectors including healthcare, media, education, government, and corporations—particularly those prioritising AI deployment on-premise without compromising data sovereignty and privacy. The collaboration will also support initiatives under the UN Sustainable Development Goals, OTT platforms, citizen data management, and large-scale data warehousing. With the ability to deliver enterprise-grade digital infrastructure to underserved areas, the partnership is set to bring intelligent, decentralized data solutions to rural and urban India alike. Planck CEO Shishir Miglani emphasized the collaboration’s forward-looking vision, stating that this effort not only meets current digital needs but contributes to a more sustainable future. |
