| Project Detail : | Around 90 percent of the work on the Sirala irrigation project in Nirmal district, Telangana has been completed. During his inspection of the site on 15 May, 2025, MLA Pawar Rama Rao Patel mentioned that the project is expected to provide irrigation water to farmers in the villages of Sirala, Ilegam, and Degam starting from the upcoming Kharif season. The Sirala project had been damaged earlier due to heavy rains, prompting the Telangana government to spearhead its reconstruction. The MLA commended the swift execution of the work and extended his gratitude to Vaishnavi Constructions for their efficient handling of the project. He said their timely intervention helped address the long-pending issues faced by farmers in the region. “The project is nearing completion and will soon benefit the farmers who have been waiting for a reliable water source,” he said. Local ayacut farmers also expressed their appreciation for efforts in ensuring the project’s timely progress and completion. |
