| Project Detail : | Premier Energies, an integrated solar cell and module manufacturer, and Germany-based RENA Technologies GmbH, a global expert in wet chemical process equipment, have announced a strategic technology partnership. The collaboration is focused on process innovation for N-Type solar cells and the development of wet chemistry solutions for next-generation tandem solar cell technologies. The combined goal is to enhance high-efficiency solar cell production by pushing boundaries in performance, throughput, and sustainable manufacturing practices. The joint effort is expected to significantly reduce resource consumption and lower the carbon footprint of solar cell manufacturing, while increasing overall output efficiency. Director and Chief Strategy Officer of Premier Energies, Sudhir Reddy said, “This partnership positions Premier at the forefront of the N-Type efficiency curve and paves the way for our advancement into tandem cell development—an essential step in the evolution of solar cell technology.” The partnership is also aligned with global efforts to decarbonise the photovoltaic supply chain and create next-generation solar products with minimal environmental impact. |
