| Project Detail : | Maruti Suzuki India will make an investment of Rs 7,410 crore to establish its third manufacturing plant in Kharkhoda, Haryana. The new plant will increase Maruti Suzuki’s production capacity in Kharkhoda to 7,50,000 units per year by 2029. The company already operates two plants in Kharkhoda—one operational since February 2025 and another under construction, both with annual production capacities of 2,50,000 units. For the third plant , further strengthening Maruti’s manufacturing footprint, the proposed capacity addition would be up to 250,000 units per year. Headquartered in New Delhi, Maruti Suzuki confirmed that the new plant will be funded through internal accruals, driven by rising market demand and increasing exports. The carmaker leads India’s car exports, holding a 40% market share as of December 2024. Currently, Maruti Suzuki operates three manufacturing facilities—two in Haryana and one in Gujarat.
