| Project Detail : | thyssenkrupp Uhde has been awarded a contract by Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals (GNFC) for the construction of the Weak Nitric Acid (WNA-III) Plant in Bharuch, Gujarat. The project scope includes licensing, basic and detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up services. With a capacity of 600 tpd, it will be one of India's largest nitric acid plants. Equipped with Uhde’s EnviNOx technology, it aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by eliminating nitrogen oxides from the production process. The WNA-I and WNA-II plants were also developed with thyssenkrupp Uhde’s technology. thyssenkrupp Uhde’s Indian subsidiary will oversee the project execution. As a leading EPC and engineering consultancy, it provides solutions across various sectors, including petrochemicals, refineries, fertilisers, and cryogenic storage. Over the past four decades, the company has successfully completed more than 850 projects. |
