Company Name : Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority
Project Detail :The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has intensified ground levelling work in Amaravati ahead of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visit to relaunch the capital’s construction. PM Modi, who initially laid the foundation stone in 2015, will return to revive the long-stalled project.

The state government has finalized tenders worth ?37,702 crore, aiming to develop Amaravati into a world-class city at an estimated cost of ?62,000 crore. Financial support of over ?26,000 crore has been secured from the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and HUDCO. Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Ponguru Narayana affirmed that Amaravati will be a self-sustaining project.

During his visit, the PM is expected to launch development projects worth ?42,000 crore. This marks the resumption of capital construction, which stalled due to the previous YSRCP government’s three-capital proposal.

The APCRDA has ramped up groundwork for the PM’s visit, levelling 250 acres and deploying 16 excavators, four heavy cranes, and six trucks at the site.
