| Project Detail : | Artson Engineering, under Tata Projects, will invest Rs 500 crore over the coming years in a joint venture (JV) with Malabar Cements to set up a boat-building facility. The facility, designed for boats with a capacity of less than 100 tonne, will be located on Willingdon Island, on land leased by Malabar Cements from the Kochi Port Authority for clinker imports. An expression of interest (EOI) was signed with the Kerala government on 22 February 2025, during the Kerala Global Investment Summit. Initially, Rs 100 crore will be invested, with further expansion planned. Headquartered in Hyderabad, Artson Engineering became a Tata Projects subsidiary after Tata acquired a 75 percent stake in the company. |
