| Project Detail : | RailTel Corporation of India has been awarded a Rs 288 crore contract to deploy Kavach, an indigenous anti-collision system, across 71 stations and 502 route km in the East Central Railway. Kavach enhances rail safety by automatically applying brakes to prevent accidents when signals are ignored or collisions are imminent. This marks one of RailTel’s largest signaling projects, improving both safety and operational efficiency. RailTel, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, is a leading telecom infrastructure provider in India. |
