| Project Detail : | Brigade Group has announced that it would develop a third tower of the World Trade Center (WTC) at Infopark Kochi, Kerala. The company, on 19 June, 2024, signed a land lease agreement at a ceremony in the presence of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, other dignitaries and officials of Brigade Enterprises and Infopark. The Rs 150-crore project to be developed by Brigade Group, will comprise a new tower of 16 storeys with a car-park of six decks. It will come up on the non-SEZ plot with a built-up space of 2.6 lakh sq. ft. This new tower of WTC will generate around 2,700 direct jobs and the project is expected to get completed in three years. Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan said 583 new companies have set up offices in Infopark since 2016, and further, the upcoming third tower of WTC will augment the entire IT sector in the state. It will also serve the growing IT and IT-enabled service sector in the state as well as the requirements of prospective entrepreneurs. The two WTC towers are completed with a combined built-up area of 7.7 lakh sq.ft,. The A and B blocks of WTC, with Grade A specification and LEED Gold certification, house 37 companies and 8,000 employees in total. Brigade has also developed the luxury business hotel Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark, located in Infopark Phase-I. Furthermore, in Trivandrum, the company is developing Brigade Square, a Grade A office building located in Technopark Phase-I. |
