| Project Detail : | Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the opening of Fountain, Mahabaleshwar-IHCL SeleQtions hotel in Maharashtra. This opening will cater to the growing demand for experiential travel especially given its proximity to cities such as Mumbai and Pune. The property is spread over 11 acres, the hotel comprises 77 rooms providing private balconies with sweeping valley views. Built with beams from Lancashire in United Kingdom, 'Fountain' takes its name from the abundance of water in the area. The hotel is nestled amidst forests with panoramic views of the Koyna valley, and offers its guests to rejuvenate amidst nature with a gamut of activities. In design, it combines contemporary colonial patterns of the British era and Indian influences, and lends distinctive offerings to the hill station, which has strawberry farms dotting the hillsides. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 34 hotels across Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger in Maharashtra including 10 under development |
