| Project Detail : | Japanese auto major Nissan Motor plans to launch three all-new models in India by financial year 2026, and will make the country an export hub under its new growth-oriented business plan. The company launched 'The Arc', its new plan which will help it navigate changing market conditions, strengthen competitiveness, and ensure sustainable growth. Globally, Nissan plans to launch 30 new models over the next three years, of which 16 will be electrified, and 14 will be international combustion engine (ICE) models, to meet the diversified needs in varied markets.It includes 34 electrified models from financial year 2024 and 2030 to cover all segments. Furthermore, the auto maker will harness strategic partnerships, and will continue to leverage the alliance with Renault and Mitsubishi Motors in Europe, LATAM, ASEAN and India. The company's wholly-owned arm, Nissan Motor India (NMIPL) serves both domestic and export markets. Its manufacturing operations are through the alliance plant in Chennai, which is run by Renault Nissan Automotive India (RNAIPL). The plant has an installed annual production capacity of 4.8 lakh units. |
