| Project Detail : | On September 25, 2023, the Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, K.T. Rama Rao, laid the foundation stone for the construction of five heritage bridges along the Musi River in Telangana The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) will undertake the development of this bridge. Out of these five bridges, two are located at the IT Park in Budvel, and one each at Manchirevula, Uppal Bagayat, and Pratap Singaram the Minister laid the groundwork for the construction of a four-lane high-level bridge on the river between Fathullaguda and Peerzadiguda as part of the Hyderabad Road Development Corporation's (HRDCL) missing link roads initiative. This bridge will significantly reduce the travel time and distance for commuters from Boduppal, Peerzadiguda, Uppal and Warangal national highway (NH) these planned bridges will boost traffic connectivity while also beautifying the city. The state government plans to invest Rs 545 crore to construct 15 bridges across the Musi River at various sites throughout the city. Of these, the Fathullaguda bridge alone will cost Rs 52 crore |
