| Project Detail : | Tata is planning to invest Rs 200 crore for a semiconductor testing and packing unit at Narasapura in Kolar district, around 70 km from Bengaluru, Karnataka After acquiring Wistron's iPhone manufacturing plant in Kolar, Tata Semiconductor Assembly and Test is projected to establish an assembly, testing, marking, and packaging (ATMP) plant. This investment is in line with the Karnataka government's efforts to boost industrial growth in the state, and it would provide employment for 155 people On 15 September, 2023, the State-Level Single-Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) approved 91 industrial investment projects worth Rs 7,660 crore Maruti Suzuki India, South West Mining, Tata Semiconductor, Krypton (India) Solutions, and Aequs Consumer are among the major businesses whose investment plans have been sanctioned by the government to further the cause of industrial growth in the state |
