| Project Detail : | SOBHA Community Home Project, under the aegis of Sri Kurumba Educational and Charitable Trust, has conducted a foundation laying ceremony for one hundred houses being constructed for families below poverty line (BPL) in Kizhakkenchery Panchayath, Palakkad district, Kerala. As per plans, one thousand houses will be built over the next four years, of which one hundred houses are being constructed in the first phase The event was graced by Union Minister for External Affairs & Parliamentary Affairs, V Muraleedharan, and Minister for Revenue and Housing, Government of Kerala, K. Rajan SOBHA, through 'Graamasobha' which is a unique social developmental initiative will build 100 houses initially, each costing around Rs 15 lakh, to be delivered to the women-headed families in Kizhakkenchery Panchayat. So far, keys to the ten completed houses have been handed over to the beneficiary families and six living quarters provided While providing access to decent and affordable housing through welfare projects, the Trust aims to build quality homes for BPL families and resonates with SOBHA's CSR philosophy of 'Devotion at work SOBHA has delivered over 123.71 million sq. ft. of developable area spanning its residential, commercial, and contractual projects, so far, with a focus on sustainability and highest safety standards.
