Company Name : Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation Limited
Project Detail :The construction of overbridges at three railway crossings in Lucknow, namely Harauni, Bharwara, and Kesari Khera, is set to proceed after the state finance committee approved funds worth ?183 crore for the project. The overbridges, which will be jointly constructed by the Railways and the state government, are expected to benefit around 10 lakh people by providing relief from routine traffic jams, according to Sandeep Gupta, Chief Project Manager of UP State Bridge Corporation

The Bharwara crossing closes around 45 times a day, resulting in frequent traffic congestion, especially on the Gomti Nagar extension side where land availability is limited. The construction of a two-lane ROB at the Krishnanagar-Kesari Khera crossing, which sees more than 100 trains pass through it daily, has also been approved at a cost of ?75 crore. Upon completion, this overbridge is expected to benefit those travelling from Kanpur Road to Hardoi Road, particularly Hardoi-bound trucks that currently have to pass through Avadh rotary

a two-lane bridge will be constructed at the Harauni-Jaitipur rail crossing on the Bani-Mohan Road in Lucknow, which is expected to cost ?43 crore. The construction of these overbridges is expected to provide significant relief to the residents of Lucknow by easing traffic congestion and improving connectivity
