| Project Detail : | Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies have been asked to submit expressions of interest (EoI) for the installation of solar power projects and solar streetlights across the state on a turnkey basis by the Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation (KELTRON) Bids must be submitted before December 2, 2022, which will be revealed on December 5 Bidders will be required to pay tender fees of Rs 1,000 along with relevant goods and services tax After successful commissioning, the chosen contractors must handle project operations and maintenance (O&M) for a period of 5 years After being appointed, KELTRON will pick EPC-cum-O&M contractors for the development of any new solar projects through project-specific bidding These contractors will be chosen for two categories. Bidders for Category I will need to set up 50 solar streetlights or solar systems with a maximum capacity of 100 kW. Bidders for Category II will need to set up 100 solar streetlights or solar systems with a capacity of more than 100 kW Bidders will have the choice of submitting applications for one or both categories The bid requirements include that participating bidders must have a Kerala office that has been running successfully for the previous 3 years. Additionally, they ought to have at least one service center bidders must have successfully designed, constructed, supplied, and commissioned grid-connected solar power projects with cumulative installed capacities of 100 kW and 250 kW, respectively for Category I and Category II, over the previous 5 fiscal years in order to be eligible for bidding Out of this, at least one installed project must be 10 kW or more for Category I and 50 kW or greater for Category II, at a single location, and it must have been in operation for at least six months prior to the proposal submission date A successful design, supply, and commissioning of at least 50 solar streetlights under Category I and at least 100 solar streetlights or more under Category II within the previous 5 years is also a requirement for the streetlight EPC contactor qualifying standards 50 or more streetlights out of 100 (used for reference in Category II) should be concentrated in one area. At least six months must pass before the bid opening date for the streetlights to be in working order Bidders in both categories must have had an average yearly revenue of at least Rs. 10 million during the previous 3 fiscal years. Additionally, each of the prior 3 fiscal years’ net worth should have been positive as of its final day |
