| Project Detail : | The Ahmedabad-based real-estate player Shilp Group has announced the launch of 585- unit residential project at GIFT City in Gandhinagar. Founder and CEO, Yash Brahmbhatt, informed that the company is building residential project in the non-processing portion of the SEZ area of GIFT City. The project will have a built-up area of 5 lakh square feet with proper permission from RERA. It will have three residential towers housing 22 floors and the unit size of each apartment will range between 1,100-1,800 square feet and will be available in 1.5, 2 and 3 BHK formats. Earlier there was a restriction that people from outside cannot purchase a house in GIFT City and now, this clause has been done away with for the first 5,000 residential units, enabling people to invest in a big way. This change in policy is important as earlier the developer had to wait for a longer time for buyers to sell a housing unit but the new norms are expected to ensure brisk business for builders and quicker property buying process for home buyers
