| Project Detail : | Union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari is all set to launch major road infrastructure projects — a 1.2km flyover at IMT Manesar, an 800m flyover at Bilaspur Chowk, and another 900m flyover at Bawal Chowk on the Delhi-Jaipur national highway involving a combined investment of ?1,100 crore. Union minister and Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjit Singh informed that these are long-pending projects and were planned to cut down commuting time between Delhi and Jaipur and were sanctioned in 2015 but were delayed due to various reasons. The cost of the flyover at IMT Manesar Chowk has been pegged at ?90 crore, while Bilaspur Chowk and Bawal Chowk flyovers would be constructed for ?23 crore each. Once these projects are complete, the traffic load on these stretches will be reduced to a great extent. Apart from this, a flyover has also been planned at Kapriwas in Rewari. A bypass at Dharuhera at a cost of ?200 crore is also on the cards and the national highway and service roads will be re-carpeted at a cost of ?459 crore
