| Project Detail : | The Government of India, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), has undertaken upgradation of two lane with paved shoulder of Bhogaon-Kashedi Ghat in Maharashtra.
The road upgradation work will be undertaken from 148.00 km to 161.60 km on engineering procurement and construction (EPC) mode under NHDP Phase-IV. The project also includes construction of 1.72 km long twin tunnel along with approaches.
In September 2017, tenders were floated to execute the project with a contract value of Rs 502.25 crore. In April 2018, Reliance Infrastructure in joint venture (JV) with CAI, Ukraine bagged an order worth Rs 441.00 crore for rehabilitation and upgradation of the project and work on the project commenced in October 2018.
As per information available with Projects Today, around 30 percent work has been completed. Also work on the tunnel is underway. The project will be ready by April 2021. |
