| Project Detail : | RP Group is planning for major investments in the tourism and hospitality sectors globally. The Group will be making an investment of Rs 11,000 crore to acquire and develop properties in India, Europe, the Far East and the US.
Raviz Hotels & Resorts, hospitality brand of RP Group, will be evolved into an independent global brand to own and operate the upcoming properties across the continents.
The company is considering an investment up to Rs 10,000 crore, in three to four years, mainly in Europe, the Far East and partly in the US, along with some strategic partners. It will be inaugurating a 5-star property on Dubai Marina by the end of 2019 or early 2020.
It is also looking at around Rs 1,000 crore proprietary capital investment in Kerala, in addition to plans to enter Goa. Moreover, it is planning for a hospitality coaching institute.
The company owns four hotels in Kerala – one each at Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam and two in Kozhikode.
The company has purchased a land near its existing property at Kovalam, where it will be building a new hotel and a convention centre. Also, it has acquired an old palace at Kollam that will be developed as a resort for ayurvedic treatment, targeting tourists from the Middle East and Europe.
In Europe, the company is negotiating with owners of two properties and it is yet to reach final stage. |
