Project Title :Road Project In Rajasthan
Company Name : Government Of Rajasthan
Project Detail :Chief minister Vasundhara Raje on Monday will lay the foundation stone for the Jhotwara elevated road project proposed between Panchayat Bhawan and Ambabari crossroad

The civic bodies will construct the Rs 167 crore project by December 2020. The ceremony will take place near Boring crossroad where Jaipur MP Ramcharan Bohra, city mayor Ashok Lahoti and Vidhyadhar Nagar MLA Narpat Singh Rajvi will be present

The project is expected to benefit around five lakh people living in 1,100 colonies in the area. Once constructed, residents will not have to suffer traffic jams for a long time. Currently, there is two-way traffic on the stretch. Traffic on the route has increased after new colonies came up in nearby areas

At present, commuters travelling between Kalwar and Bani Park face huge inconvenience as long traffic snarls are witnessed. During peak hours, it takes more than 25 minutes to cross the bridge

After issuing letter of acceptance to Messrs. TRG Pvt. Ltd, the JDA is now all set to initiate the project in this tenure. In the budget of 2016-2017, BJP government announced the elevated road to provide relief to commuters travelling in Phalna’s Jhotwara region. “The project is crucial and need of the hour as the narrow flyover has become a major bottleneck. As no land is available on either side, the JDA is left with no option but to construct an elevated road,” said a JDA official

To ease traffic, the JDA had proposed a three-lane elevated road between Ambabari petrol pump to Jhotwara Panchayat Samiti Road at a length of 2.26 km. This project also includes the expansion of the existing railways over bridge. For construction of the elevated road, 604 structures will be demolished. This also includes six temples and four schools
