| Project Detail : | The district administration has identified 77 villages in all six blocks of the district for building parks and playgrounds at par with the urban areas under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) Five villages will be equipped with parks and playgrounds every month in each block. The work is under way in most of the villages and will provide 100 days employment to villagers Of the identified villages, 7 were in Assandh, 8 in Gharaunda, 15 in Indri block, 20 in Karnal, 15 in Nilokheri and 12 in Nissing, said Nishant Kumar Yadav, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC).
