Project Detail :Hindustan Power has acquired the rights to build 15 solar power generation projects in Japan. Hindustan Power’s CEO for International Solar, Lalit Jain told, The total deal size is $100 million (nearly Rs. 660 crore) for the 15 projects. We plan to invest another Rs. 1,500 crore to build these projects. In an official statement, the company said it also aims to enter Bangladesh with solar projects at Trishal. Jain said, “The proposal to develop a 4X25 MW solar project has been submitted to the Bangladesh Government and the required land agreement has already been signed

The company also said it would want to increase its international portfolio to 2GW by 2022 Commenting on the same, the Chairman, Hindustan Power, Ratul Puri said, “We have invested close to Rs. 3,000 crore and the target of 2 GW would entail an investment of Rs. 10,000 crore

It has executed projects like the 25 MW solar power plant in Lauta, Germany, Asia’s first 30 MW solar plant in Gujarat.
