Project Detail:
The proposed distillery unit is situated in well cultivated area where grains are available easily for the activity. The distillery unit will be established in existing Sugar and Cogeneration Industry where required raw material will be procured from existing sugar unit and nearby villages.The promoter anticipating the positive impact of the project on the society which will provide employment to local population, improve the economy and profitability of the project thus promoters decided to establish the distillery unit. The industrial alcohol is used in most of the industries such as chemical industries in the manufacture of primarily the basic carbon based products like Acetic Acid, Butanol, Butadiene, Acetic Anhydride, Vinyl acetate, PVC etc, Pharmaceutical industries for manufacturing of insulin, antibiotics, tonics and several other essential bulk drugs and finished formulations, Extra-Neutral-Alcohol (ENA) is also useful for manufacture of cosmetics and perfume as well as in petroleum based products, etc. The industrial alcohol is the base or raw material for the most of these industries. The alcohol is a source of income to the Government as well as Country. Due to increasing demand of alcohol in the country from last few decades, these prices are expected to remain high in the coming years due to increasing demand for alcohol and also to assist Government of India in Ethanol Blended with Petrol (EBP) Programme to achieve E20 targets.
