Project Detail:

Cochin Port Trust (CoPT) has a small dry dock and marine  workshops at the southern end  of Wellingdon Island, facing the Mattancherry channel for carrying out repair and maintenance of vessels. To  meet the future growth, theexisting facility needs to be modernized and upgraded.  Accordingly, CoPT has handedover its existing ship repair facility along with about 17ha land and a 850m water frontage on a lease basis for 30 years to Cochin Shipyard Limited.
