Project Detail:
The proposed grain-based distillery of the company will be a greenfield unit, the industry will be established to manufacture of Ethanol for the purpose of Ethanol Blending Programme with Petrol, a special dispensation was provided for grain based distillery units which is based on Zero Liquid Discharge unit, intended for production of Ethanolvide notification number S.O. 2339(E). dated the 16 th June, 2021. According to this notification, “Grain based distilleries producing ethanol and based on Zero Liquid discharge, solely to be used for Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme of the Government of India shall be appraised as B2 category project and in terms of para 4(iiia) of this notification”. As per notification (iii a) Such Category ‘B’ projects, as notified by the Central Government on account of exigencies such as pandemics, natural disasters, or to promote environmentally friendly activities under National Programmes or Scheme or Missions, shall be considered at the Central level as Category.
