Project Detail:
The project entails Asian Development Bank (ADB) providing longer-tenor financing to support development of rural and peri-urban regions in India. This financing will be used for on-lending purposes in lagging states with the primary objective of (i) providing micro loans targeted toward women borrowers, (ii) providing farm equipment loans and working capital facility to farmers, (iii) enabling individuals to access loans for new two wheeler purchase (including electric two-wheelers) for livelihood support, and (iv) offering business loans to self- employed professionals.
