M/s Adani Logistics Limited has proposed for Industrial/Warehouse/Logistics Project located at Village Firozpur, Tehsil & District- Palwal, Haryana on a land measuring 66.27 acres.
Warehouse is not just a commercial building for storage of goods. They are used by manufacturers, importers, exporters, wholesalers, transport businesses, customs, etc. They are usually large plain buildings in areas of villages, towns and cities. They usually have loading docks to load and unload goods from trucks. Sometimes warehouses are designed for the loading and unloading of goods directly from railways, airports, or seaports. They often have cranes and forklifts for moving goods, which are usually placed on standard pallets loaded into pallet racks, shelves and bins. Stored goods can include any raw materials, packing materials, spare parts, components or finished goods associated with agriculture, manufacturing, or commerce. Activities like sorting, labeling, packaging, kitting, de-kitting, assembling etc. are also carried out in the warehouses.
