Project detail:
M/s. Shradhanika India Corporation (hereinafter called as „company?) proposes to set up Grain Based Ethanol Distillery Plant of 100 KLPD capacity along with 2.5 MW Co-generation Power Plant at Khasra No. 429, 431, 434, 435, 437, 438, 439, 440, 442, 443, 444, 445,454, 460, 461 Village Shivrukh Kalan, Tehsil Mahmudabad, Sitapur District, Uttar Pradesh.
The proposed grain-based Ethanol distillery of capacity of 100 KLPD with 2.5 MW Power Generation is a Greenfield activity, for production of Ethanol using Grain under recent notification of MoEF & CC for the purpose of Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme, a special dispensation was provided for expansion of sugar manufacturing or distillery units, intended for production of Ethanol vide notification number S.O. 2339(E) dated 16 th June, 2021. According to this notification, “Grain based distilleries producing ethanol and based on Zero Liquid discharge (ZLD), solely to be used for Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme of the Government of India shall be appraised as B2 category project and in terms of para 4(iii a) of this notification”. As per notification (iii a) Such Category „B? projects, as notified by the Central Government on account of exigencies such as pandemics, natural disasters, or to promote environmental friendly activities under National Programmes or Schemes or Missions, shall be considered at the Central level as Category „B? projects.
