Project detail:
envisages setting up 199 Kilo Litres per Day (KLPD) grain- based Ethyl alcohol (Ethanol) Distillery unit in Special Food Processing Park, at Telangana State Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) Ltd, Village: Lingampally and Janagaon District: Kamareddy, Telangana State – 503145 of India. The unit shall manufacture Ethanol which would be supplied to Oil Marketing Companies under Ethanol Blending Programme of the Union Government. In the same process, by product named Dry Distilled Grain Soluble (DDGS) is produced which is an animal nutrition and protein product used in Animal Feed. The project is promoted by M/s. Vivek Bio Products Private Limited (VBPPL) and shall have 100% shareholding in the project.
The Total project cost would be approximately Rs. 196.00 Crores.
Proposed Finished Products from the Facility are Grain based Ethanol and Dry Distilled Grain Soluble (DDGS) products. Ethanol will be supplied to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) under Ethanol Blending Programme of the Union government; Whereas DDGS would be supplied/ used as Animal Protein ingredient in Animal Feed Consumption. Ethanol produced (365 days basis) across annum would be 72,635 Kilo Litres per annum whereas DDGS would be a proportionate By-product with production of 40,150 MT per annum. We plan to operate the facility for 365 days per annum. The plant shall use various high starch grains such as Rice, Broken Rice, Maize, Bajra, Jowar and Wheat, etc. for producing Ethanol in the facility. The project will be set up on the total land area of 81120 Sq. M. The proposed land is located in Notified Industrial Park – NA not required (Copy of land allotment letter attached Annexure I).
The power will be generated during the process from a 45 TPH steam Boiler; though a Bio Mass & coal Fired Co-Generation unit having capacity to generate 5.0 MW electrical power. Additional power if required will meet through grid. The project shall require about 3000 KLD of fresh water per day. Source of water is Kaleshwaram Irrigation project Amarlabanda reservoir - supplied by pipe upto our plot by TSIIC. The project shall be commissioned within 12 months after obtaining prior Environment Clearance and CTE.
The proposed manufacturing facilities is for production of ethanol (199 KLD) along with Captive Power Plant of 5 MW at Special Food Processing Park, at Telangana State Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) Ltd, Village: Lingampally and Janagaon, District: Kamareddy, Telangana State – 503145. The project activity falls under sector 5(g) Distilleries and Category B2 as per EIA Notification, 2006.
The Government of India has approved National Policy on Biofuels – 2018 in order to promote biofuels in the country. Biofuels in India are of strategic importance as it augers well with ongoing initiatives of Government such as Make in India, Skill Development and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
