Jayaswal Neco Industries Limited (JNIL), was promoted by Shri B.L. Shaw and the company commenced its commercial operations in 1972, Today the company is a leading manufacturer and supplier of variety of sanitary castings which include Centrifugally Cast-Iron Pipe & Fittings, Cast Iron Manhole cover with Frames, Cast iron castings etc. The company had established its integrated steel plant complex at Sitara growth centre, Siltara Village, Raipur Chhattisgarh in the year 1994, and had commenced its commercial operation in the year 1996. The unit is today one of the largest alloy steel manufacturers in the country. The unit is having the facility of Sinter Plant, Blast Furnace, Steel Melt Shop, Rolling Mill as one vertical and on the other vertical it has got Sponge Iron, Pellet, Power, Oxygen and coke oven.
Considering the recent trend in production and consumption of steel globally and in India, the National Steel Policy, 2022 had projected 500 MTPA steelmaking capacities in India by 2047 at 7.3% growth rate. In the light of the above scenario, M/s. JAYASWAL NECO INDUSTRIES LIMITED has proposed to go for expansion of Steel plant
Total estimated Cost of the project is Rs. 8560 Crores Within 5 years from the Date of receipt of EC & Financial Closure.
M/s. JNIL is operating Steel plant at Siltara Industrial Growth Center, Siltara, Sankra, Girod, Dhaneli (V) Raipur (D & T), Chhattisgarh. Existing plant has obtained Environment Clearance from MoEF&CC vide F.No. J-11011/809/2007-IA-II (I) dated 08-09-2008 & 26thSep 2014 (Validity Extension) and CTE obtained for 350 TPD DRI plant and 15 MW (7.5 MW AFBC + 7.5 MW WHRB) power plant and 500 TPD DRI plant and 15 MW (12 MW WHRB + 3 MW AFBC) power plant respectively in the year 2006 and 2007 have been demerged from those respective group
companies and had been merged with Jayaswal Neco Industries Limited
