Project Detail:

This chapter highlights the features of the existing plant and the installation of new facilities with details of plant layout, process details, various utilities, services & infrastructural facilities.

BMMIL proposes to expand their Integrated Steel Plant from 0.96 MTPA to 2.1 MTPA and captive power plant from 235 MW to 345 MW in an existing area of 1413.6 ha (3491.7 acres) at Danapura, Danayakanakere, Nagalapura, Byalakundi and Garaga villages, Hosapete taluk, Vijayanagara (Ballari) district, Karnataka State. 

The current proposal includes the installation of balance facilities of earlier issued EC in 2010 from MoEF for setting up of 2.0 MTPA ISP. Also, it features the increasing production capacities of power plant, oxygen plant and slab caster unit.
