Project Detail:
The project activities in the three thematic areas of (a) economic development, (b) human capital development, and (c) institutional capability development are expected to produce outputs resulting in mutually reinforcing intermediate outcomes. Improved road infrastructure will help connect tribal school-age children to improved school complexes and tribal farmers to collection points and agriculture markets. This will open new economic opportunities and learning environments in the tribal areas. The project’s outputs are expected to result in increased jobs and income levels, reduced travel times, higher retention in secondary education, and institutional capabilities in the tribal blocks in the medium term, whereas economic development, human capital, and improved governance and service delivery in the state will be enhanced in the long term.
