Project Detail:

The company is an approved Mining Lease (Lumshnong Limestone Mine) over an area of 4.20 ha (Non-Forest Land) which is located at Villages- Lumshnong, District-East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya State. The proposed capacity during the current mining scheme period of the lease is 180000.015TPA. The subject area is covered with existing pits and waste dumps in the northern portion are a plain terrain.
The mining will be Opencast Fully-Mechanised Mining (OTFM-A) Category. The mining plan is specially designed with 6 meters bench height for proper recovery of ore. The hauling roads with proper gradients and benches are properly designed along the strike direction by adopting best safety concepts.
The total cost of project would be around Rs. 6.594 Crore.
