Project Detail:
The complex Infrastructure would require around 200 Acres of land which includes facilities like Waste Water Treatment Unit, Steam Boiler (4X200 TPH), Co-generation facility (100 MW), Product/Intermediate Product Storage etc., Utilities, Pipelines, Loading/Unloading, Road/Drainage, Pipe Racks/Trenches & Cable Trays, Buffer Zone, Non Plant Buildings, Laboratories, Fabrication Yard, Dispatch Section, General stores/ Warehouse, Fire & Safety Department, Maintenance Workshop, Occupational Health Centre etc.
The investment for the proposed Coal to PVC Project is estimated at US $ 4 Billion (INR 29200 Crores). The PVC Production capacity of the proposed project is 2000 KTPA (Kilo Tons Per Annum). Several by-products such as Caustic Soda, Sodium Hypochlorite, Tar, Crude Benzene, Ammonium Sulphate, Hydrated lime sludge will also be generated from the proposed Coal to PVC Complex. The Coal to PVC Project comprises of Coke Oven/Pyrolysis Unit, Lime Klin & Calcium Carbide Unit, Chloro-Alkali Unit, HCl Synthesis Unit, Caustic Flakes Unit, Acetylene Generation Unit, VCM (Vinyl Chloride Monomer) Unit and PVC Unit.
The total estimated project Cost of the Coal to PVC project is around 4 Billion USD (INR 29200 Crores). The project would create 3000 direct and 7000 indirect employments during plant operations. Around 5000 people would be required during construction phase of the project.
Implementation schedule for Coal to PVC complex: 48 Months
