Project Detail:
A Concrete Gravity Dam of 118.5 m height (above foundation level) and 248.676m length at top has been proposed for Niare HEP. The Dam comprising of central spillway comprising of 6 Nos. of sluice type and 1 No. of surface type spillway have been proposed to pass the design flood of 11800 cumecs.
Commissioning Schedule: The project is scheduled to be completed in 60 months after financial closure.
Project Cost: The capitalized completed cost of the project including escalation @ 7% on Civil and E&M works and IDC @ 12.0% p.a works out to Rs 5676.29 crore.
