Project Detail:
The expansion will enhance the quantum of import of raw material to 4.50 Million TPA from existing about 2.5 Million TPA. To cater the additional import, Nirma is now exploring options where the material can move to an exclusive dedicated marine facility straight from the ship anchorage to the plant site close to the Bhavnagar creek, and unload the cargo through suitable material handling equipment installed on the wharf/jetty into a conveyor system running up to the plant. This will help Nirma to achieve higher throughput in future, of 4.50 Million TPA from the existing level of 2.5 Million TPA; devoid of hassles associated with the present method of handling and transportation.
