Objectives and Scope  
Linkage to Country/Regional Strategy The Project is in line with the Country Partnership Strategy (CPS) 2012-2016 which seeks to support industrializing and diversifying the economy, promoting job creation and skills generation as well as maintaining the momentum of reforms. The Project is consistent with the CPS target for ADB to focus on the upstream and downstream development of Uzbekistan s natural resources, inclusive of petrochemical and refinery projects, which are needed to bolster value-added export products, promote regional trade, and support petroleum products refining and logistics.
