Project Detail:
The chapter mainly deals with the type of the project, need of the project, the location of the project, infrastructure facilities available near the project. It also deals with the local geology, assessment of the mineable reserve, the present land use pattern and the conceptual land use pattern. The chapter also deals with the purpose of mining, the overburden likely to be removed. The mining machinery required at the project, the method of mining proposed to be followed and the manpower required at the project. Further the details of environmental sensitivity lying within the buffer zone of 15 km radius from the periphery of mining lease also have been furnished.
