Project detail:
M/s. UltraTech Cement Limited (UTCL) has proposed an expansion in Mohanpura-Jodhpura Limestone Mine (M L No. 03/2003 (R), ML Area 548.78 ha) with expansion in Limestone Production Capacity from 6.0 Million TPA to 10.50 Million TPA (ROM), 5.72 Million TPA Waste rock, 0.53 Million TPA clay/Sub soil and 0.05 million TPA Top Soil generation (Total Excavation: 16.8 Million TPA) with Existing Crusher Capacity of 1600 TPH & Proposed additional Crusher Capacity of 1600 TPH at Villages: Mohanpura, Kujota, Mahrampura (Rajput), Maharampura (Nawab), Kansli, Kiratpura, Fatehpura, and Ajitpura, Tehsil: Kotputli, District- Jaipur (Rajasthan).
Proposal was considered for grant of Terms of references (TOR) in 14th meeting of Expert Appraisal Committee (Non-Coal Mining) held on 26th February, 2020 (Agenda Item No. 2.5) and ToR Letter was issued by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt of India, New Delhi vide letter no. J-11015/350/2008-IA-II (M) dated 09th July, 2020 in accordance to the EIA Notification – 2006 and amended as on date. The baseline data for the environmental studies has been collected during Winter Season (December, 2019 to February, 2020).
