Re Sustainability Limited proposes to establish a Common hazardous waste Treatment Storage and Disposal Facility, with Secured Landfill Incineration, E-waste, AFRF, Plastic recycling, Paper recycling, solvent recovery, Aluminum dross recycling, Used / spent oil recycling, SPL and drum/decontamination recycling unit along with renewable energy which will cater to environmentally and economically sound disposal of waste generated from Baloda Bazar & Raipur region and minimizing long distance haulage of waste. Proposed facility shall be developed at Plot No. 1004 to 1022, 1027 & 1028 of Kesda Village, Simga tehsil, Baloda Bazar District, Chhattisgarh. As per EIA notification, it is necessary to get Environmental Clearance (EC) prior to commissioning of the proposed project. All the facilities of hazardous waste handling, treatment, storage and disposal along with recycling facilities shall be developed and operated in accordance to Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016. The details of proposed project facilities and capacities are given in Table 1.1.

The CHWTSDF is being proposed for recycling/recovery, alternate fuel, and raw material facility, treatment, storage and disposal The proposed project targets to treat scientifically and dispose safely, the hazardous, waste along with recycling of oils, spent solvents, recycling of paper & plastic and treat other miscellaneous wastes generated from various hazardous waste generating units located in Kesda (V), Simga (T), Baloda Bazar (D), in Chhattisgarh. The proposed project will be designed inline to meet the Hazardous and other wastes (management and trans boundary movement) rules, 2016 along with E-waste management rules 2016, plastic waste management rules, 2016 etc. and there amendments there off.
Project cost : Capital Cost : Rs.36 Crores, EMP of Rs. 3.2 Crores Recurring cost Rs. 32 Lakhs /annum, The overall project cost works out to be around Rs.75.10 Crores, which includes Land and other CSIDCL regulatory cost.
