Project Detail:
Modern Industrial Estate comprising of about 620 acres was set up at Kundli by the Haryana govt. on the side of NH-1 at Haryana-Delhi border to give relief to Delhi from its increasing industrial pressure. Plots of various categories ranging from 10 Marla plots to two acres have been carved out. In this area different industries related to footwear, iron & fabrication, plastic goods, pharmaceuticals, chemicals,
confectionary / food processing, auto mobiles ancillaries and electronic & electrical good etc. have been established. There is an existing CETP of capacity 4 MLD which was constructed about 15 years ago on approx 28,105 sq. m (7 Acres ) of triangular shaped land in Phase IV, HSIIDC, Kundli to treat the effluent of this area (Phase I to IV). The outlet of the treated effluent is being disposed off directly in the drain running besides the CETP.
Now with the increase in industrial activities in the area (Phase III, IV, IV sector-56), the quantity of effluent at the CETP is expected to increase and hence it has become necessary to increase the capacity of the existing system from 4 MLD to 10 MLD. The proposed up gradation is coming up within the same premises.
Total estimated cost including O&M, Power, Chemicals, Sludge disposal and Departmental Over head expenses will be Rs. 45.86 Crores and Total Estimated capital investment will be Rs. 21.02 crores for the proposed CETP up-gradation
