| Project Detail : | Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has approved Rs 240 crore for the construction of an elevated road to alleviate traffic congestion in Sanganer. The project, announced in the 2024-25 State Budget, aims to address daily traffic jams in the area, which have been a significant concern for commuters. A traffic survey highlighted the heavy congestion along the Sanganer flyover, Chordia petrol pump, Malpura Gate, and Kalyanpura ROB. The plan includes the construction of a four-lane elevated road from the Sanganer flyover to the Kalyanpura ROB and a two-lane elevated road connecting Chordia petrol pump to Diggi Malpura Gate. Additionally, JDA has approved a sewerage strengthening project in the area, including a 40 MLD sewage treatment plant using SBR technology to be established near Bambala. These infrastructure improvements are expected to significantly enhance traffic flow and public amenities in the region. |
