| Project Detail : | Domestic contract manufacturer Dixon Technologies has entered into a partnered with Dassault Systemes to meet objectives of streamlining its manufacturing processes and improving production output. Dixon will access technology solutions from Dassault such as DELMIA Apriso applications, which will help the company use data-driven insights in its operations, control leakages and catch misalignment in products real-time for time-to-market. As manufacturing facilities globally are adopting digital and automated processes for higher efficiency levels and product quality, the same will also help Dixon to reduce its production cost, optimise operation and deliver greater value to its clients. In smartphones, through this digital transformation journey, automation, and robotics, it aims to increase productivity to 350-400 per hour. Dixon makes smartphones and feature phones for companies such as Xiaomi, Samsung, at its four plants in Noida, and also manufcatures home appliances, televisions, telecom products and lighting products. Dixon has a capacity of manufacturing 30 million smartphones and 50 million feature phones annually.
