| Project Detail : | Krishna Cotage, a division of Vedang Group, is all set to invest Rs 1,600 crore to set up units for production of milk-based, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). The promoter will be setting up all together five manufacturing units in Vodadara, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai and Rajkot As confirmed with Projects Today, the milk processing units are in planning stage and the company is in the process of completing various statutory formalities and awaiting necessary approvals for the projects The milk processing plants planned at Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot will have a capacity of 50,000 ltr per day and each unit is expected to cost Rs 200 crore. Work on the project is expected to commence in November 2018. The units in Ahmedabad and Mumbai will each cost Rs 500 crore and will have a capacity of 1.5 lakh ltr per day |
